I appreciate the comments on the color selection for Krieg vehicles. I've decided on the brown color scheme as you can see from the photos. The Interiors are a minty-green color in order to contrast. Looking at all of these vehicles, I can see that I have ages worth of paint chipping to do. I think they will look nice in the end, but it is a bit daunting. What isn't pictured here is the Bombard squadron. Yep, you read that right. Three bombards round out this force. The army has absolutely nothing special in terms of characters or death stars. Just a lot of artillery and horses.
I haven''t quite figured out what to do with this iron looking wheels. I am tempted to just shine them up with metallic weathering powders along the road facing portion.
Yes to the metallic powders on the wheels! looking sharp :)
ReplyDeleteI haven't quite figured out the metallic powders (it's just graphite right?) yet, but they seem to be pretty awesome in my limited experimentation.
ReplyDeleteBig fan of this scheme. I really like the mint interiors, and as a bonus, that will take to some really nice streaking effects!
You know how I like streaking! :)
Deletefire all 22 barrage hits, and then follow up with horses. Not much else the army can do. I suppose it has one squad of grenadiers in a centaur, and a large squad of engineers following behind a hades drill, but those are mostly gimmicks.
Ooooh good looking gun park.
ReplyDeleteMein Gott that is alot of vehicles to paint! I do not envy you good sir. Gonna look awesome though
ReplyDeleteWait till I post the second batch! :)
DeleteWow, that looks incredible. The very look I've always loved on Krieg.
