The Necron train continues! I think I did a better job painting the purple bowling ball this time around. If I keep up at this rate I am going to have to figure out how to finished all of the warriors and immortals.
I think some battle damage/rust tests are in my near future!
Rust is easy, if you're patient. There are a variety of products and techniques. I've collected many. For me I make custom rust washes using inks but especially weathering powder. Some people use alcohol or some other medium but I just use water mostly. I haven't gotten to try all the techniques I've read about.

ReplyDeleteThanks for the complements! I took a risk with the color that I probably would not have taken without the gentle prodding from other people after I posted test photos. This Necron army feels very much like a community effort!
