I've been traveling, so I've only made a little bit of process. Now that transfers, rivet dirt/rust, and gems have been added it is time to sponge on the battle damage. I have been tempted to dust the lower portion of the storm talon with graveyard earth, in order to make it blend in with my tanks, but I am just not sure how much dust a vtol like this would pick up and carry around with it.
Overall, the more I work with the model the more I like it. I don't feel the need to convert it at all.
In my furious internet searching I couldn't find any really dusty VTOL aircraft, although there were a few with heavy soot deposits from the engines. Of course as everyone knows, either a helocopter is leaking hydraulic fluid, or there's none left in it. So maybe some oil stains too? Keep up the good work!
ReplyDeleteI couldn't find any dusty vtols either, which I thought was weird given that they always seem to throw up dust!
