Our club has decided to attempt a rather ambitious club game covering the battle of Arnhem during operation Market Garden. Normally I would cast each side wall separately, but for some reason I decided I wanted each floor to be removable. This has slowed down the process, and due to increased carelessness on my part, resulted in some pretty terrible wall joins. On the other hand, we have floors! Just the thought of trying to dig Frost's paratroopers out of all of these buildings makes me cringe. I guess that is what artillery is for. Better make some ruins!

Resin Scenery
Some days I just feel like dry brushing. I cast this neat little scenery bit a while back when I was learning how to make my own stuff. After a disastrous home made wash, I put the model aside and left it sitting forlorn at the edge of my painting area. A little dry brushing of deheneb stone, and it is looking passible. I am considering sculpting my own ruined city apt blocks so the game has a war torn ww2 look. The best part of casting is that I can easily make piles of interesting building rubble.
Is there a piece of scenery that anyone would like to see made? I could make some custom buildings, bridges, or anything else easily cast in a one piece mold. I'd gladly make the best idea.

SCENERY Ruined Chapel WIP1
Now that I have a battle board I need something to put on it. I love more realistic scenery, so I decided to pile up debris in the corner. I really like the way this is turning out because it looks less like a toy and more like a diorama. Somehow that lets me enjoy games more! I think I may cut out colored plastic to make jagged edges of broken stained class all along the windows.
I think I may try to get some trenches created to go with my Death Korps army. Knowing how to easily reproduce a section of scenery makes it much more enjoyable!
