Epic 30K

With some new display cabinet space available I decided to break out an Epic force I started a while ago. Why did I stop painting this? Epic is incredible. This is the right scale for 40k.

  1. Great stuff - now paint the 40k 28mm models to match that force ;)

    1. LOL. I have that force already painted, but I think you know that! :) I suppose it might be fun do do some comparison shots. The weirdest thing is that my airbrush control on the small pieces appears vastly better than that on my larger pieces.

    1. I think an epic 30k narrative event needs to happen. Imagine all custom asymmetric themed tables, and armies having to actually travel to the battlefield.

    2. Indeed - I'm cautiously optimistic that the upcoming Adeptus Titanicus will scratch that itch for me. Sadly all of my epic stuff is long, loooong gone.

  4. That force is stunning! It probably needs a titan or two ;)

    1. Titans inbound. I have a pair of the good square-ish looking warhounds.

  5. Love the models for this game! I think I may be strongly tempted when they re-release it.
