Space Hulk WIP 3

The space hulk is getting close to completion, but even in this state there is a lot of work to do. Many of the panels are not glued on yet, which will take quite a while due to the vast quantity of them. The doors need to be completed, and all of the grey exterior panels need to be filled and painted. Fortunately that is the easy stuff. Rather than make this easy on myself, I ordered another batch of this stuff before I had completed the first batch. I'd really like to paint a miniature at this point, but I must keep plugging away.

    1. Thank you. It has reached the chore phase, so I am struggling to keep pushing forward.

    1. Thank you, I appreciate it. I have another couple of layers of pigments on at this point, and have more of the doors completed. I'd say I never tried something so large before, but my blogroll would contradict that! This was a big bite to handle all at once.

  3. Spectacular work, man! As things begin to slog, don't forget to take a breather and work on something else for a bit to recharge the ol' hobby mojo!

Looking forward to seeing some of the other rooms in your scheme, it's going to be brilliant once it's all done. Go man, go!

    1. I'm trying to finish enough of this that I have my painting desk back! I need a primarch, painting break.

  4. That looks great!
It's very evocative and immediately sparks the imagination.
Keep at it, it will be worth it once you've finished.

  5. Looking wonderful there to me, bravo. How easily can sections be moved around?

Taking a break to paint some models or even play a game in it would be a good idea.

    1. Once the sections have their walls glued in, they are easily reconfigured. I think a gaming break would be good.
