How awesome is warhammer world?

I really need the intertubes help with this one. I am flying to London for business and wanted to know if warhammer world is worth the 2 hour train ride. Convince me!

  1. Well, you can see the museum which has all of the armies that you might see in white dwarf and in army books etc. as well as some other models to boot. The GW store there also sells SOME popular forge world items over the counter (at least, they used to and I assume they still do).

There's also Bugmans bar for your food and drink needs and you never know when you might run into a GW "celebrity".

Still though, whilst the gaming hall looks awesome, if you aren't heading there to play a game then there's not that great a deal to do...

  4. The miniatures gallery is well worth a look and if your planning on bringing an army there's some very nice terrain on the plentiful tables. Oh, and Bugmans bar is okay and the food isn't bad.

It's a great place to go for a day of gaming with friends. Not sure it's worth a one off trip just to look around though.
