More Mymeara

Since I'm painting these fast, I've been cutting corners. One of the things I wish I had done was spray a layer of solvent over the paint job before continuing. This is an old military modeler's trick that smooths out the surface. It basically melts the orange peel effect away that comes from airbrushing, producing a perfectly flat surface.

Next time. I really like these.

  1. Impressive work, it is looking good even if it is a quick job... it is turning out to be quite a collection at this rate. Looking forward to seeing the complete force.

    1. Thanks. I don't really have a deadline for it, but since I have to be inside for at least 7-10 more days, I've got loads of time. . What do you have going on? What fills your quarantine days?

    2. Well.. we really done have a quarantine here (Sweden) unless you are sick... so I am mostly working from home. But it gives me more time to hobby since I do not need to commute. So I am trying to get some progress on my titans, but it is a lot of green stuff and customization work...

  2. What solvent would you use for that last smoothing trick? I have some wave serpents who need their cellulite fixing
