Original Imperial Guard Sentinels

A few years ago, I found my original IG army and started paint stripping models that I might want to eventually repaint. These two sentinels were part of that effort. First painted decades ago, these guys got a quick lick of paint last night. I didn't want to spend too much time on them, but I wanted them to exist as finished models again. They don't go with any army I have. These guys are just one-offs that will sit in a cabinet and fuel my nostalgia. I just love seeing these old tiny things. A Primaris is almost as tall as these guys. That's how small they are!

    "With multi-lasers."

Awesome! Always love seeing the RT/2nd Ed-era models make an appearance. Good stuff, man!

    1. Your trip down nostalgia road with those dreads gave me the push I needed to get these done. I painted these in a single sitting. It was a blast.

  3. Death Chickens! :-) Somewhere in my Basement of Doom I have 4-6 of these with the various weapon options from the ancient times... I think I used a missile pod from Epic on at least one to be a flanking sniper... Loads of use in the ancient times, and good to see some still kicking around...

  4. Nice work and very nostalgic.

But do the legs and feet not belong the other way around?

    1. I wondered that same thing as I was repainting them. These are basically locked in poses from decades ago.
