I'm thinking the Khorne Red might be it's alternate. I only say this because all my bases are edged Mechrite Red. I know we have to come to terms with the new colours, not too bad for me as I mostly use Vallejo but Mechrite Red is an absolute necessity for me. Luckily I picked up two pots from my local independent retailer.40kaddicthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12763647828123242837noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2896607568583881271.post-72766761834221256172012-04-11T09:50:37.343-07:002012-04-11T09:50:37.343-07:00I too like the red and the rich color it appears t...I too like the red and the rich color it appears to be.
I'm going to be looking for new metallics now though.
I'm wondering about the washes too.

Ron, FTWSpace Hulk Enthusiasthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03522498406401972832noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2896607568583881271.post-24468284147008798282012-04-11T08:46:21.884-07:002012-04-11T08:46:21.884-07:00My first thought when I saw this fig: man that red...My first thought when I saw this fig: man that red is AWESOME.

My second thought: the red is the only thing special about the paints used here.

Conclusion: Other than the red, the set of paints used for this model are not an improvement on the previous line. The paint didn't "do" anything extra to improve the model alone. I don't think it painted itself or I would actually jump at getting GW overpriced paints in those terrible pots.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
